CBD is one of the various classes of the plant cannabis sativa. According to some researchers, the plant Cannabis Sativa is said to have existed since 750B.C. Tetrahydrocannabinol is also among the cannabis Sativa plant but in a higher class than the CBD.

According to an investigation carried out with the use of double blind study, when healthy individuals were given CBD to see if there would be any change in their reaction to nasty and unpleasant pictures. At the end of the experiment, little to no change was detected.
